Hey! question for all you guys and girls that work at hollister?
soo, i applied for a job as a model and got it! i live in california and was wonder, whats should i expect from the job? i know we dont gte many hours but do we get to pick when we work and stuff because i have a crazy schedule this month . also i know we cant wear much makeup and have to wear hollister like clothes but what about jewelry? can i still wear my promise ring or do i have to be jewelry free. thank you
Answer:You get to choose your availability – you probably already did it on your application, but you can always update it when you need it, just ask your manager. Lots of my coworkers have another job, and the company is SUPER flexible when it comes to scheduling and time off (mostly because they have SO many employees and thus have the means to do this). It's a super fun job, not too stressful, but it all depends on how strict your manager is. In general, it's just folding clothes, working the register and talking to customers. You get super close with your coworkers, and even though you'll get sick of the playlist after a week or so, it's just a chill working environment.
We're not allowed to wear much jewelry – no necklaces, no bracelets, but if you have a small, simple promise ring, I can't imagine that they'd have a problem with it. You can only have one earring in each year (a stud earring), and no other visible piercings.

Answer:You can't wear much makeup because they're going to make you up when you get to work. As far as jewelry, you can wear it to set but you might have to take it off depending on what body parts they're going to shoot and whether or not you're going to be selling their jewelry.
